My heart's racing
just moments before my life changes
Anticipating
all the directions I can go this time
Which is the way?
Do I just stay right where I'm at
and see things happen around me?
Do I make a move?
Can I even choose?
Or are the cards all laid down for me?
Any way things go
it all goes on with or without me
So where should I be?
I wish I could see the end from the beginning
